Priapism

摘要

Advances in the understanding of the physiology of erection have allowed a new classification of priapism and new medical therapeutic options. The treatment will depend on the various etiologies of priapism. A therapeutic plan can be developed for each patient to minimize the risk for erectile tissue ischemia, to restore penile detumescence with minimum intervention, and to maximize post-priapism erectile potency.
