FYI: Potash looms as company's next venture

Western Australian uranium explorer FYI Resources Ltd is branching out in a new direction. The company - which until now was focused on its 100% owned Yarlarweelor uranium project located 125km north of Meekatharra in WA - has lodged applications for special prospecting licences covering potential high-grade potash targets in Thailand. FYI said the prospective potash deposits -which are located in the Sakon Nakhon Basin of the Khorat Plateau province in north-east Thailand - were identified during a company review of suitable new projects and commodities to pursue in conjunction with its current assets.
