Deloitte Western Australia managing partner Keith Jones told Paydirtthe local business sector had been held "hostage by international pressures".Jones' comments were made in light of the Deloitte WA Index revealing that the market capitalisation of WA listed companies had fallen almost 25% in the past year.WA companies' market capitalisation, according to the index, was $140.7 billion.Since Deloitte WA started the index, there has only been one other year when WA companies had faired poorer.
