Gold mining company Newcrest Mining has triumphed as Australia's most attractive employer for 2012 at the annual Randstad Awards.Australia's biggest gold miner trumped national broadcaster ABC and 2011 winner Virgin Australia for the title.The Randstad Award, claimed to be unrivalled domestically or internationally, is based on surveys of 100,000 people globally. Companies are unable to nominate themselves or determine the categories or criteria for entry.Newcrest took the top gong that revealed which companies were voted the most attractive by more than 7,000 Australians of working age.
