East Energy lifts coal target

Western Australian-based coal exploration company East Energy Resources Ltd has more than doubled its resource target after excellent first round drill results at its Blackall coal project in Queensland. Historically, the Blackall tenement has suggested a mineralisation target of 79-90mt thermal coal, however East Energy exploration manager Peter Tighe said the first round results had surpassed all expectations and the company had upgraded its mineralisation target to more than 200mt.
