Leading Perth-based consulting firm Snowden Group says there is an increasing demand among mining professionals - both new and experienced - for greater technical guidance and the company has responded by extending and formalising its one-on-one mentoring service. According to Snowden, it has been providing technical mentoring to clients "on an ad hoc basis" for several years. But, as mining professionals have become more and more weighed down with the pressures of performing in a hyped-up market, an opportunity has clearly emerged to take the service a step further.
