Highly Efficient Synthesis of N-Alkyl-alpha-amino Acid Methyl Esters by Microwave Irradiation

摘要

In this report at first we prepared N-nosyl-alpha-amino acid methyl esters from alpha-amino acids in a simple method, with short reaction times and good yields. Then, N-nosyl-alpha-amino acid methyl esters were N-alkylated using alkyl tosylates under microwave irradiation to produce N-alkyl-N-nosyl-alpha-amino acid methyl esters in convenient times and with good yields. At the end, efficient and convenient deprotection of o-nitrobenzenesulfonyl group with use of HSCH2CH2OH/K2CO3 was done to produced N-alkyl-alpha-amino acid methyl esters.
