Now the nickel price appears clear of the ravages of the global slowdown, GME Resources Ltd is looking to pick up the pieces of a BFS on its NiWest laterite project in Western Australia. GME suspended work on the BFS in 2009 as the GFC gripped the nickel industry but after a sustained period of recovery the company is intent on completing its work and bringing NiWest - adjacent to Minara Resources NL's Murrin Murrin nickel mine - into production.
