US degree days indicator through December 18

New York - The degree days indicator for US heating oil demand so far this heating season (through December 18) was 18.01% greater than the corresponding period of the last season and 48.85% less then normal. The indicator is comprised of the average degree days for 18 geographically representative US cities, weighted to reflect the cities' relative consumption of home heating oil.
