LCFS credit bank rises to over 10 million tonnes

The credit bank of California's Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) reached a new record level of 10.3 million tonnes in Q1 2022 thanks to huge volumes of renewable diesel (RD) that were used in the period. The fuel contributed 2.3 million tonnes of credits, followed by electricity with 1.4 million and ethanol with 0.9 million.
