The influence of the conditions in the rectification and absorption columns on the yield of reaction products is investigated. A model of delayed coking is formulated. The optimal parameters for the rectification and absorption columns are determined. The parameters of these columns and their interaction are found to significantly affect the production of stable gasoline, light gas-oil, coke, and gas. It is also found that the absorption temperature, pressure, and flow rate of the absorbent significantly affect the product yield in delayed coking.
