Zinc spot TCs continue to fall on reduced concentrate availability

Import spot TCs decreased in March, a direct result of the reduced availability of concentrate due to disruption at the Dugald River and Century Tailings mines in Australia and Cerro Lindo in Peru. It also reflects our view that the Auby and Budel smelters in France and the Netherlands, respectively, are currently ramping up output. Additionally, demand for imported material during the month improved as the negative LME-SHFE zinc price arbitrage narrowed during the month.
