The Bellarine College Landeare Nursery was established in 2002 as a joint initiative between Bellarine Landeare Group and the Bellarine Secondary College at Drysdale to utilise land which is managed by the school. The concept was to create a communitydriven indigenous nursery to supply plants to the Bellarine Peninsula for revegetation projects for the rural and coastal communities. The majority of plants go to farmers and landholders as the bulk of the Bellarine is made up of private land and helps create wildlife corridors, shelter belts and to connect valuable asset areas.
