Resolute Mining Ltd remains confident its Syama gold project in Mali is on track with the company saying in early August that the ramp-up remained on schedule. Syama - 30km from the Cote d'lvoire border in the West African nation's far south - has been in the ramp-up stage since commissioning started in March. While the eight-week schedule has been missed, the company is still satisfied with progress, saying in a statement to the ASX on August 8 that all areas of the plant were operating consistently and in line with design criteria.
