Food safety is the main prerequisite for food quality. According to Law No. 7 1996 it is stated that consumers have the right to safe food; which is characterized by the freedom of society from types of food that are harmful to human health and are not in accordance with public beliefs. Food safety means that food is free from factors that cause disease, as well as things that are dangerous and safe for consumption.
