Octagonal Resources Ltd has started extending the Union Hill decline as it targets production of 30,000 ozpa gold from its Alliance South project in Victoria.Situated in the Maldon goldfield - Victoria's third most prolific historical goldfield - the Alliance South deposit has a current inferred resource of 473,000t @ 12 g/t for 182,000oz gold and will provide the base load feed for Octagonal's 150,000 tpa CIL plant.
