摘要

The no-till 'revolution' across diverse Australian cropping landscapes has been highly successful but is not yet complete, according to a new report released by the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC). The Adoption of No-till Cropping Practices in Australian Grain Growing Regions report indicates that the proportion of growers using no-till is starting to plateau near 90 per cent in many cropping districts and that most growers who adopt no-till use it on a large proportion of their crop area. The report, commissioned by the GRDC on behalf of the South Australian No-till Farmers Association (SANTFA) and Conservation Agriculture Alliance of Australia and New Zealand (CAAANZ), has provided a detailed insight into the status of no-till and conservation cropping practices in major grain growing regions.
