Built bit by bit

Turning DPSA Holdings from a single company providing drill bits to the mining industry, to a group of six companies providing a range of mining products and services across the country, is all part of chief executive Neill Clur's master plan. In 1996 Clur launched the first company in the group, Drilling Project Services Australia (now DPSA Mining Products) as a supplier of Varel drill bits. While offering a basic service, Clur, a mechanical engineer, sought to add value in the sales process by offering engineering expertise to DPSA's customers.
