What were the highlights and lowlights of 1999?To find out, Australia's Mining Monthly hosted an exclusive roundtable discussion of Australian mining industry players. The panelcomprised: Bill Ryan, managing director of Titan Resources andpresident of the Association of Mining and ExplorationCompanies (AMEC); John Macdonald, respected mining analyst atCIBC World Markets; and Max Brunsdon, general manager,commercial, of Western Metals; who shared their views withAMM's deputy editor, Stephen Bell, at Perth's Duxton Hotelrecently. Robin Widdup, the Melbourne-based chief of investmentfund Lion Selection Group, and Rod Webster, managing directorof Western Metals, also participated via written responses.
