摘要

The results of the numerical solution of the lidar equation for differential absorption and scattering are presented for probing hydrogen sulfide molecules in the atmosphere with a concentration level of 10(11) cm(-3) from a space platform at altitudes from hundreds of kilometers to geostationary orbit. It is shown that the measurement time for the level of such a concentration of the investigated hydrogen sulfide molecules at a laser wavelength of 3.83 mu m and an altitude of 100 to 36,000 km lies in the range of 0.8 mu s-10.5 s for a differential absorption and scattering lidar. Therefore, it is possible to measure the concentrations of the investigated hydrogen sulfide molecules at a level of 10(11) cm(-3) with such a lidar from a space platform.
