South Korean battery maker LG Energy Solutions (LGES), a sub- sidiary of LG Chem and the world’s second-largest EV battery producer, announced this week that it has signed an agree- ment to lead a consortium that will invest $9bn in building a mining-to-manufacturing EV battery supply chain in Indonesia.
