Stripe rust management when potential yields are low

Stripe rust (SR) management in wheat has been a major focus of the Central West Farming Systems (CWFS) group over the past few years. Nine trials over two years at six locations in CW NSW in an east - west transect between Cowra (640 mm average annual rainfall) to Nyngan (440 mm average), have provided experience in low, medium and high rainfall situations. What has become clear is that SR potential and yield potential are often related.
