In March 2012, Ross Tomaino from Innovation Ice Cream was sponsored by the DIAA Victorian Division to attend Anuga FoodTec in Cologne, Germany. He shares his observations. Anuga FoodTec is the largest exhibition of its kind in the world. It is split over nine halls, each more or less as big as Melbourne's Convention and Exhibition Centre. Walking through and absorbing the exhibition in only three days is no mean feat. This year, the exhibition covered a broad cross-section of subjects and media. Theatmosphere was that of co-operation and information sharing, with helpful exhibition staff and no sales pressure from the exhibitors.
