While integrated crop management (ICM) is well established in the production of protected ornamentals, controlling diseases can still be challenging, particularly in certain crops and for certain varieties under certain conditions. As a result, chemical intervention may be required to achieve adequate control, but other options such as environmental management and biological control options have a vital role to play in controlling common diseases.
