The aggregation of multiple wireless interfaces allows an increased throughput for a single flow in a wireless network. Linux bonding which has been implemented to aggregate multiple LAN interfaces might be useful for the aggregation of wireless interfaces for throughput improvement in wireless networks. This study describes the setup of wireless bonding of two and three WLAN interfaces in the Cognitive Emulation System and discusses the performance which can be achieved with wireless bonding. It shows that the throughput for UDP applications increases with the number of bonded wireless interfaces.
