THE Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum & Energy has, as expected, given the green light to 19 oil and gas developments offshore Norway worth total investments of more than Nkr200 billion ($18.5 billion)."These are projects that contribute to continued high and stable production from the Norwegian continental shelf, and to employment and value creation for the whole of society," Petroleum & Energy Minister Terje Aasland said on Wednesday."We are further developing the petroleum business so that jobs and large incomes are created for the community."Most of the projects are new developments, but some are further developments of existing fields or field expansions.
