Sheet prices in Southeast Asia fell by almost $130 /t m/m in July. After stabilising early June,sheet prices fell during the middle of the month on bearish market sentiment in the region,lower raw-material costs, and competitive offers. Though our prediction for the steel marginsto continue increasing panned out as expected, this was due to a fall in raw material costsand our expected increase in sheet prices did not materialise.
