This course was a delight for all textile lovers; one way to make our precious cloth into unique items. Day by day we built up needlework samples, both by hand and machine, to enable us to make our own bags at home. A square of material simply folded can be transformed into a magical treasure by those sewing techniques. Jennie was an excellent teacher. She drops pearls of wisdom in every sentence. Her bags were a delight to admire: the fine needlework in a myriad of embellishments create the most exquisite, beautiful, intricate bags. They were truly an inspiration.
