Turkish coke imports double in May

Turkey’s imports of green petroleum coke nearly doubled in May amid higher supplies from the US and the resumption of shipments from Spain and Russia. Turkey’s total green coke imports rose by 97pc to 249,900t in May from the prior month, according to data from Global Trade Tracker (GTT ). Still, imports in May were 31pc lower than a year earlier.
