Hyundai Investing in New Chinese Facility To Produce Hydrogen from Plastic Waste

Beijing— Hyundai Engineering is planning to construct a facility in Dangjin, China, that will utilize plastic waste for the production of hydrogen, according to several Japanese reports. The new $336-million plant will be capable of processing 100,000 t/y of plastic waste for the production of 22,000 t/y of hydrogen.
