Kureha to Increase PVDF Capacity At Iwaki Factory in Fukushima

Tokyo—Kureha Corp. will increase production capacity for polyvi-nylidene fluoride (PVDF) at its Iwaki Factory in Fukushima, Japan, to address growing customer demand. The project, estimated to cost around 70-billion, will increase PVDF capacity at the site by 8,000 t/y to a total of 14,000 t/y. Construction is expected to be completed in March 2026.
