European Parliament agrees to scrap all EU tariffs on Moldovan agri-food products

The European Parliament has agreed to extend trade liberalization measures with Moldova for another year and expand them to remove all remaining tariffs on the country’s agri-food products. The trade benefits, also known as Autonomous Trade Measures (ATMs), were adopted one year ago to support Moldova’s economy against the disruptions caused by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and are set to expire on 24 July.
