Banrock Station is trying to give something back to the environment from both sides of the farmgate, something that has helped it go from sales of zero to 750,000 cases of wine in eight years. The manager of Banrock Station's Wine and Wetland Centre,Tony Sharley, explained to delegates the work required to make 'green' wine and the benefits that could have for both the environment and bottom line. "Wine is a product of nature and I think the stronger we make that alliance between wine and nature, the better we will be at promoting the product and its origins," Mr Sharley said.
