Trevor Watkins set out to challenge the dairy industry's thinking in a number of key areas. The creator of Dairy Week, a weekly update for the industry, and a former player at both Cadbury and Bonlac Foods, got delegates nodding, frowning and, ultimately, thinking about the industry's stance on R&D, A2 milk, rationalisation, generic advertising, the US-Australia Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and the strong Australian dollar.
