摘要

? 2023 Elsevier B.V.Diverse biocompatible nanomaterials with improved physiochemical characteristics became demanding for biomedicines. Thus, new types of crystalline and spherical silver-copper nanocomposites (AgCuNCs) with prominent fluorescence (FL) and localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) absorption were made using pulse laser ablation in liquid (PLAL) method. The structure, morphology, and FL properties of these NCs were customized via the laser fluence (LF) adjustments. Nanocomposite made at LF of 14.15 ± 0.4 J cm?2 displayed uniform particle size distribution (mean diameter of 7.22 ± 1.31 nm) with a high FL quantum yield of 0.061. Exciton-like energy states and size-enabled electronic transitions shown by these proposed plasmonic NCs were asserted to be beneficial for biomedical applications especially in improved FL-based drug formulation.
