Drought continues to bear down on the dairy industry

Local milk prices are at a historically high level, but the benefits of this are being eroded by record high feed prices and limited irrigation allocations, writes Peter Wilson, Dairy Australia's industry analyst-Australia. However, limited follow-up rains from July onwards have meant another very dry winter and spring in much of south-east Australia.
