Learning about life in the workforce

The dairy industry is an active participant in a mentoring program at Melbourne University's Institute of the Land and Food Resources (ILFR) that is helping its students find out more about the work environment. As a university student, it is often hard to get information about pootential career opportunities. You can talk to your lecturers and go along to career nights put on by various companies and industries, but it is not the same as having someone to discuss the pro and cons of various jobs ina particular industry. A program at the University of Melbourne is aiming to provide students with information about particular industries that you can't get Tom text books.
