The Department of Interior announces Karen Baker as chief of the office of renewable energy programs at the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management. Baker most recently served as regional program director at the Army Corp of Engineers in the North Atlantic. Michael Barr moves in as the Federal Reserve vice chair for supervision. He is expected to play a role in determining how banks account for climate risks. Barr previously served in the Department of the Treasury during the Obama administration. Keisha Lance Bottoms will now serve as President Biden's senior adviser and head of the White House Office of Public Engagement. She is the former mayor of Atlanta, GA. Mary Boyle moves in as commissioner of the Consumer Product Safety Commission after serving as general counsel and executive director. She has worked at the agency for over a decade.
