Valent's ACC and two end-use PGRs registered in Canada

The Canadian Pest management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has granted registration to Sumitomo Chemical's US-based biological crop protection products business, Valent BioSciences' (Libertyville, Illinois), plant growth regulator (PGR), 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylic acid (ACC), along with two end-use products – VBC-30452 SG and Accede. The active ingredient is intended for use on apple trees as a commercial fruit thinner.
