EXXONMOBIL will cut costs by an additional $3 billion by the end of 2023 while keeping capital expenditure above $20 billion to the end of 2027. Chief executive Darren Woods said the company was "evolving" and had made multiple changes over the past several years to reduce costs. After previously announcing plans to reduce expenditure by $6 billion between 2019 and 2023, Woods said the company had a new goal as it streamlined operations.
