Economic evaluation of agricultural mechanization projects Sohag Governorate

摘要

In Egypt generally and in Sohag particularly, there are many obstacles to use of agricultural mechanization despite interest in mechanization as a means of increasing agricultural production, decreasing its costs, and saving time and effort. The project for agricultural mechanization in Sohag requires investment, as a result this paper evaluates its returns and limiting resources. Results indicate that the project achieves financial gains, economic and social returns. It recommends continuing support of the project and developing further machinery stations and services.
