摘要

Nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers in diamond are regarded as a promising candidates for quantum sensor. Here, diamond crystal growth and NV creation methods are introduced. High pressure and high temperature (HTHP) and chemical vapor deposition (CVD) are major crystal growth methods for diamond. Electron irradiation in the MeV range and nitrogen ion implantation are powerful methods for creating NV centers.
