Effect of paclobutrazol and GA_3 foliar sprays on mineral content, yield and fruit quality of 'Le conte' pear trees grown under rafah conditions

“Le conte” pear trees grown in Rafah district at Northern Sinai governorate were sprayed with paclobutrazol at 1000 and 2000 ppm and/or gibberellic acid (GA_3) at 10 ppm at full bloom stage. The results showed that paclobutrazol at both concentrations combined with GA_3 at 10 ppm treatments raised N,P and K content in the leaves and greatly enhanced yield, as well as average fruit weight, volume, length and diameter but decreased fruit firmness than control. Thus, it could be suggested that spraying pear trees with paclobutrazol at 1000 ppm + GA_3 at 10 ppm is suitable under conditions of thisstudy.
