摘要

I was on duty at Warrawong Ambulance Station one Saturday when a young man approached me and wanted to know if I was the man with the metal detector who found lost rings. I said I was, and asked if he needed my help. The young man's name was Roy, he was from Kiama, on the NSW south coast, and he told me his wife had accidentally thrown his wedding ring out with the vegie peelings. He had spent all day looking for it without success.
