Purpose of Study: To determine the incidence and epidemiology of foot fractures, and report specific classifications of various foot fractures and the mechanisms that cause trauma. Approach: This retrospective cohort study included data on 4,938 patients who sustained 5,912 foot fractures between January 2005 and December 2010. All patients’ radiography and medical records were manually reviewed and X-rays and computed tomography were used for fracture classification. Fractures were divided into forefoot, midfoot, and hindfoot groups for analysis.
