Fareast longs prices crash as it faces multiple headwinds

Longs prices in Southeast Asia were down by almost $75 /t m/m in July, driven by bearish market sentiment in the region, lower raw-material costs, and competitive offers. Though our prediction for the steel margins to increase panned out as expected, but since raw-material prices reduced, the expected improvement in prices did not materialise.
