500PLUS~R PREFAB Pile Cages--OneSteel Reinforcing Keeps Rail Project on Track

The Wodonga Rail Bypass is part of the 612.8 million dollars North-East Rail Revitalisation Project. Jointly funded by the Australian Rail Track Corporation, and the Victorian and Commonwealth Governments, the project involved construction of a five kilometre dual track rail bypass, including 12 bridges situated in the Murray River floodplain, crossing local rivers and creeks. Contributing to the speed and cost-effectiveness of construction has been the inclusion of prefabricated steel piling cages and columns from OneSteel Reinforcing. Leading foundation construction company, Vibropile were commissioned for the construction of the bridges and worked collaboratively with OneSteel Reinforcing throughout the project.
