Thai Apparel Exports Forecast to Fall 7% This Year

Wallop Wittanakorn, advisor of the Thai Garment Manufacturers Association, disclosed that this year's Thai apparel exports are forecast to decrease by 7% compared to 2014 to US$2,850 million. As the relocation of factories to neighboring countries has increased, exports including those from factories outside Thailand are expected to be about the same as last year.
