LyondellBasell Acquires 50 Interest In Dutch Recycling Firm Stiphout

Rotterdam— LyondellBasell has purchased a 50% share in Stiphout Industries, a Dutch company involved in the sourcing and processing of post-consumer plastic packaging waste. Founded in 2015, Stiphout operates a facility in Mon-fort, the Netherlands, with an annual processing capacity equivalent to the amount of plastic packaging waste generated by over 500,000 Dutch citizens per year. It processes the waste into clean flakes of recycled polypropylene and high-density polyethylene materials.
