Russian refineries lowered throughput by 3pc in 2022, to around 272mn t (5.4mn b/d), according to an article by deputy prime minister Alexander Novak published 13 February in Energy Policy magazine. Still, Novak said the country's refineries increased gasoline output by 4.4pc, to 42.6mn t, and boosted diesel production by 6pc, to 85mn t. He did not specify how much of this was 10ppm fuel.
